Before you apply
What we expect from you
These hold across every kind of work. Anything specific to one role is worked out with you during screening, rather than listed here as though it were already settled.
- Turn up when you said you would
- Most of this work depends on somebody else keeping a promise. If something changes, telling us early is worth more than apologising afterwards.
- Drive to a standard you would accept yourself
- Whatever the route or the schedule looks like. The pace of the job is set by the delivery, not by you.
- Be comfortable with the physical side of it
- Loading, lifting and carrying are part of the job. We talk through the demands of a specific role with you rather than assuming them.
- Treat people the way you would want to be treated
- You are representing PeakWave at someone’s door, and the person on the other side judges us by you.

Where you are based
Your address, and how far you are willing to travel.
Your transport
Vehicle, licence and insurance, where the role needs them.
Experience
Driving history, and any delivery work you have done before.
Availability
The days and hours you could actually work.
Documents
Photo ID, driving licence, insurance. We confirm the rest.
About documents
Photo ID and a driving licence to start with, plus insurance and vehicle documents where the role uses them. We have not published a fixed list, so the application lets you upload what you already have and our team confirms the rest during review.
Questions
What applicants ask us
Who can apply?
Anyone with a driving licence, and anyone without one who wants delivery work that does not involve driving. Tell us what suits you during the application — the questions change with the role you pick, and there is an “other” option if none of them fit.
What happens after I submit?
Your application goes to the recruitment team, who read it against the roles open at that time. If there is a fit they will contact you to talk it through. The middle three stages are done by people, not by an automated score.
Does applying mean I am hired?
No. Applying starts a review. Verification is a separate step, and it is what turns an application into an active account. You can apply and still be waiting, be asked for more information, or be told there is no suitable fit right now.
Can I sign in before I am verified?
Yes. Your sign-in works from the moment you create it, and it is what you use to follow an application and later to pick up work. What stays locked until you are verified is delivery work itself — routes and earnings do not open at the application stage.
Do I need my own vehicle?
It depends on the role, and the application asks about it in a way that adapts to the role you choose. Some roles use your own vehicle; some may be able to provide one. We confirm what a specific role needs during screening.
